This place is simply amazing. Definitely my favorite Japanese restaurant in Chicago. I live in south loop, with current traffic I drive for like an hour to come here to eat, and I’m not disappointed at all, and I’m sure I will keep coming back. Every single dish we ordered were really tasty and pretty big portion. The vibe isn very warm and cozy just like a typical Japanese eatery. Service is also pretty good. And the price is really good! Already can’t wait to go back!

Haven't been back for years. Cute little family run Japanese restaurant. Heard very good things about it, so came back to try it. Once opened at 11 in the morning on the weekend, already half filled with visitors. The lunch Benton are of good price. The side dishes are limited, can use some sauces to make it more flavorful. A good selection of lunch box choices at around $12-13. The servers are busy and knows limited English. The food are good, but are not hot. But will come back again to give it another try.

I’ve only been here once but the chirashi was very good quality. Service was great. We went during lunch time on a week day, so it wasn’t packed. Plenty of parking. Prices were very affordable and you get good size portion. I would have to come back here to try more items.

Oh boy this is a gem 💎 within the Elk Grove Higgins area! It is surely a more authentic Japanese restaurant based on many of its menu items. There are even some traditional Japanese dining tables inside. You'll have fun choosing the appetizers, in which standouts would be the Agedashi tofu and the soft shell crab. Eel (unagi) was good, chirashi too. No bad meal in our big party. This is a "we'll definitely come back" restaurant.

Our first time and we enjoyed the special lunch for the day! I like that they use a thin batter to fry the salmon, the okra with octopus is new to us but we enjoyed it, the pork with onions was good! Everything was just perfect! Service was quick. Definitely, we will be back to try out their other dishes!

Delicious lunch bento. I ordered salmon Teppanyaki and it was so good. The staff were very friendly as well. The price is surprisingly not expensive. The portion enough for you to be full. Nice place!
